As many of our friends know, our grandson’s name is Max. Mohawk set Max loose on their new #SmartStrand Silk RESERVE line of carpeting, to prove that it really was a more durable soft nylon carpeting than that of their closest competitor.
What a smart branding move on their part, and one that allows us to prove to our interior design clients here in Boston -especially those that have families with small children where spills are inevitable- that it really is a better choice for their homes.
During the National Kitchen and Bath Association’s annual tradeshow, known as #KBIS2017 ( and also one of our #BlogTourKBIS sponsors ), I had the opportunity to learn about the next generation line in Mohawk’s #SmartStrand Silk series of carpets, #SmartStrand Silk RESERVE , which – besides its proven durability – is even softer than their previous version thanks to advances in yarn technology.
Mohawk went all out for all of us on #BlogTourKBIS and I was so glad Veronika Miller, the CEO of www.modenus.com, invited Sally to accompany me to their special event on the last night of the show, at the Ritz Carlton. Thank you, Veronika!
At this event, Mohawk had installed their new #SmartStrand Silk RESERVE carpeting in a beautifully decorated private room, so we could all walk on it barefoot and feel its extraordinary softness for ourselves, all while drinking bellinis (!) and getting massages.
After two days of walking the concrete floors at the Orlando Convention Center during #KBIS2017, it felt so good.
