Project Overview: This Victorian House from the 1870’s had plumbing upstairs, but no bathroom on the ground floor. Our task was to find space for a half bath downstairs. We found it in a closet under the main staircase. The space was so small that we had to go on a search for the smallest toilet we could find – the smallest sink we could find, the smallest faucet, etc. A large mirror stretching almost wall to wall above the unusual French gray – purple marble, acts to reflect and enlarge the space. This half bath serves as proof that small can be just right.
