Our Ipswich Country Club kitchen remodeling project, using Thermador. Wilson Kelsey Design, Boston based luxury interior designers.

We are excited to share with you that we’ve been selected to join #BlogTourKBIS!

You may have noticed that we recently added this *badge* to our sidebar:
blogtour-badge-orlando-ly-greyIn today’s post, we’re going to explain to you what it means and how we are going to soon be sharing with you pictures and videos + our thoughts and opinions on the best new products and smart kitchen ideas that will help us – help you – create a more beautiful, more refined, more functional kitchen and/or bath for your home.

    WHAT IS #BlogTourKBIS?

Blog Tour KBIS is a prestigious annual sponsored event for kitchen and/or interior designers with a design blog,  produced by Veronika Miller, the CEO of the top site on the web for discovering new luxury products from across the globe, www.modenus.com.

The logo for www.modenus.com.Each year, her team selects a group of approximately 18 – 24 designers to attend the kitchen and bath industry’s biggest wholesale tradeshow, owned by the National Kitchen and Bath Association, called the Kitchen Bath Industry Show, or #KBIS2017.

Wilson Kelsey Design was selected this year to be part of #BlogTourKBIS and we are honored and delighted to be joining her group of 22 other professionals in Orlando this January!

Click the link at the end of this post to meet all of of our fellow designers from around the country and Canada, that you see below.

wkd_blogtourkbisa_instaSince only one of us can *officially* represent our firm on #BlogTourKBIS, Sally and I decided I would represent us, but she will be there with me, doing her *due diligence* on the new products that the various exhibitors will be showing.

The sponsors of #BlogTourKBIS, so far, are KBIS, DXV, Metrie, Mohawk, Wilsonart and Thermador. Thermador is a line of appliances we have specified frequently in our projects, as you can see in our Ipswich Country Club project below.
screen-shot-2016-11-17-at-4-13-05-pmWe also specified several Thermador appliances for our Milton kitchen project, below, the subject of a recent blog post, which includes a  wonderful YouTube video, narrated by Sally, that walks you through the process of how we solved the many design challenges this project presented, in order to come up with a solution that completely changed our client’s life.

Thank you again, Thermador, Wilsonart, Metrie, KBIS, DXV, and Mohawk, for making this trip possible for Wilson Kelsey Design, and for all of our fellow designers going, too. We appreciate your sponsorship and look forward to spending time with you, learning more about your products, at #KBIS2017.

And we are definitely looking forward to Orlando, in January, when it is so cold here in Boston!

Thank you, readers, for subscribing to our newly re-designed blog, #DesignCognoscenti, and we look forward to bringing you the best of *what’s new* in luxury kitchen design for your own homes from #KBIS2017!
